Join us for a hands-on session on how to prepare and work with masterplans, design codes and other tools to deliver large scale, phased neighbourhoods. We will visit Trumpington and Great Kneighton to look at a wide range of award winning homes guided by David Birkbeck, Design for Homes, and learn from those involved in the process to better understand the use of codes and plans.

At this session David McDonald, Institute of Historic Building Conservation, will cover the basics of understanding the terms ‘context’ and ‘significance’ when managing heritage assets to create even better places.
